Women Leaders in Sports Podcast

Sep 16, 2018

In this episode, Patti talks with Kelley Kish, the director of athletics at Lake Erie College. Kelley started her career in athletics administration when she became the first-ever coordinator of volleyball operations at her alma mater, the University of Florida. She stayed there for nine years until she decided to make the transition from a Division I institution to Division II—which is where she’s found her home ever since.

Kelley talks passionately about the importance of internships and mentors—and she gives shout outs through the episode to her own mentors, and how they influenced her path to the AD position at Lake Erie. Wherever she goes, Kelley makes a huge impact—and that’s proven through the influence she has on the Division II governance, her student-athletes, and to all of her colleagues!
