Ceal Barry, from the University of Colorado, is one of Patti’s
coaching idols—and one of the greatest basketball coaches of all
time. Her journey began back when she one of the first female
scholarship athletes at Kentucky. After a few years coaching at the
University of Cincinnati, Ceal embarked on a legendary 22-year
coaching career at Colorado, where she and her women’s basketball
teams racked up a whopping 427 victories! Recently, she
transitioned from her unbelievable coaching career to
administration, and is now Colorado’s senior associate athletic
director for internal opps and senior woman administrator. We know
you’ll find her perspective about the coaching life versus
administration life is so insightful.
