Women Leaders in Sports Podcast

Aug 5, 2018

It was fantastic to catch up with Lesley Irvine, the director of athletics for Pomona-Pitzer Colleges, for this conversation.

Lesley’s career journey began in England where she was an elite field hockey player at the university level. With a year of eligibility remaining, she joined the University of Iowa field hockey program and connected with one of the biggest trailblazer in college athletics and Title IX pioneer, Dr. Christine Grant, who was her college professor. Lesley credits Dr. Grant with teaching her to never waver on her leadership philosophy—a lesson she has implemented throughout her career as a coach and as a high-level administrator.

We know you’ll love Lesley’s vision for Sagehen athletics and her ability to get her teams firing together on all cylinders!
